The advantage of the new improved version
In the previous sensor does not work well with some specific fibers. The new sensor is using an optical sensor that is triggered
Through simple mechanical levers. This sensor does not care about the optical properties of the filament (it can be completely invisible) and can not die because of mechanical wear.
Specification:
IR sensor assembly
1. place the IR sensor on top of the body extruder and secure it with M2x8.
2. tighten M2x8 screws, the sensor should not be able to move, but be careful PCB is not unbreakable;)
3. Connect the cable, the correct orientation of the connector and wires.
4. leave clearance for the sensor as in the picture. Do not create too large a loop as it can interfere with the framework. If necessary, adjust the length, gently pulling / pushing the cable.
